Hi! We're the Campolindo Boss Bots (№ 524), a FIRST Tech Challenge robotics team based in Moraga, California. Founded in 2005, our team has always been motivated by a love of robust robots and an obligation to get people of all backgrounds insterested in FIRST and STEM.
We've mentored a budding FTC team at The Athenian School in Danville, CA throughout a series of sessions to help get them off the ground.
What's more important to us than making a great robot is helping other people learn to make great robots, so we've made the entirety of the source code for our robot available on BitBucket. It's licensed under the MIT License so that anybody can use it however they want, as long as they include attribution in their code.
We keep an exhaustive record of everything we do, from meeting notes to conceptual drawings. Our engineering notebook can be viewed on Google Drive.
Thank you to our courteously generous sponsors. Without them, the Boss Bots would not have become a reality.
As part of our fundraising efforts, Ray, one of our members, has been working with the Dogecoin community to raise awareness for FIRST in a campaign titled Doge4Robots.
